The Rev. Byron Breese, “contemplative Baptist,” Inter-faith advocate and activist, is the co-creator of OCCF and this year’s Steering Committee Chair.  He co-founded the Monmouth Center for World Religions and Ethical Thought, Lincroft, NJ, in 1994.   He has served local congregations in New Jersey and Vermont, has taught world religions – for Elmira College and the Community Colleges of Vermont – since 1999 and is a career-retired US military officer (1983-2006).   His academic degrees include a BA in Philosophy, the Master of Divinity, and a Master of Fine Art in Interdisciplinary Arts.  He was ordained in 1994 with the American Baptist Churches, USA.
