Chris Gish is a Senior at The Sharon Academy high school. He enjoys long-distance running, skiing, backpacking and basically any activity outdoors. His Junior exhibition project concerned the “Limits to Growth”, based on Donella Meadows’ and her MIT colleagues’ study about the upper limits of earth’s resources. Chris recently returned from a semester study abroad in Norway, and found that even in a country celebrated for it’s environmental ethics, hypocrisy abounds. Being conscious of his carbon footprint, Chris bikes or runs to school and work whenever he can, and avoids the trappings of technology. He is currently working part-time at Luna Blue organic farm in Royalton and helping his father build a post and beam woodshed to house their heating fuel.
